    Audition Breakdown
    I’m directing a short-length film, an ensemble piece in the drama genre, that is to be independently produced. I’m looking for both actors and actresses to perform roles in the film described as follows. A couple carries on a business repairing dolls at a small shop they own. It’s a job that brings them in contact with children and the lives of others. Among them is a teenage girl with her doll look-alike, a man accompanied by his teddy bear. Then a mother and young daughter come in with a doll of hers someone broke. But who did and why are questions that aren’t answered until they return later. I see the characters as having these features: caucasian ethnicity; the couple is in their late 20s or early 30s; the same describes the woman whose daughter is 5; the teenage girl is 16, her boyfriend older. I’m not able to consider submissions that don’t include a photo, link to one or reel.
