[Otis] African-American in his 30s, Otis is a scheming operator; he’s someone who’s always on the make, looking for some golden opportunity that will catapult him to riches, success and fame. She often stumbles into ridiculous physical predicaments, which are made all the more funny by her frantic efforts to get out of the situation. [Wanda] In her 20s, Wanda is the romantic interest of every man that enters the restaurant. A shameless know-it-all, Wanda is a die-hard gold-digger. She looks at her job as waitress as a stepping stone that will give her the opportunity to meet the rich and famous that come to “Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles.” All head and no heart, she suppresses her emotions in order to get the things in life that her brain tells her she’s entitled to… SERIES REGULAR
[Darrell] African-American in his 40s. Darrell, the bumbling employee, who could never gets by on his ability alone, must rely on his relationship with the restaurant’s owner. Darrell is always forgiven for the mishaps, foul-ups, blunders and mistakes, which sometimes border on the catastrophic, because he is the brother of the owner… SERIES REGULAR
[Darius] African-American late teens, Darius is the annoying nephew of Mr. Dobbs the restaurant owner. His endlessly bothersome questions, which seem to lead nowhere, somehow eventually end up mattering… RECURRING
