Atlas Theatre Ensemble is holding auditions for it's January, 2009 production of "The Trojan Women".
Set on the day following the fall of Troy, the survivors of the Greek victory must find a way to pick up the pieces of their shattered life, and attempt to make sense of the past ten years of war and destruction. The Trojan men and boys are dead, and the women must rise from the ashes to plot their course for the future. Set in a modern-day world, full of music and movement, "The Trojan Women" is a pure ensemble piece, and resonates with great feeling in today's world.
