Share | My name is Dale Nickel, I’m the founder of The Hollywood Diamond Jesters. We are a traveling, live, comedy softball show in the likeness of The Harlem Globetrotters.

I’m putting together a tour for 2009 and I need help. I need someone to help me put these shows together. There is no travel for you, we will work the city you live in. I plan to start the tour in late January or early February in Florida. I have a tentative schedule set up but at this point it’s easy to change cities and/or dates.

The primary thing we need is softball players. These players can be anyone. I will send e-mails to the business’s that are members of the local Chamber of Commerce asking them to “donate” a player for this show. Some of these business’s will some won’t even answer my e-mail. We need for you to be looking for players as well.

The big thing about the players is, because this is a very NON-competitive game(show) softball skills are not important. In fact when we have a couple of players that have never played softball or haven’t played in a long time it makes the show “even more funnier”. We need players that really want to have a fun time. We need players that will help us promote the show as well by passing out fliers and even selling a few tickets. What we will do is ask each player to sell 5 tickets. We have a “family pak” ticket for $20.00. This is for mom, dad and all the kids. My share is 1 ticket per player you keep the rest.

There are a couple of other things we can do to raise money and we will split anything we make after expenses.
